Don't miss out, register today! The Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) is offering a webinar on Wednesday, December 13, 2019, from 1-2pm Eastern on the final rule issued earlier this month on the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and other issues addressed in the 2020 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule. This webinar is free to members of EDPMA and only $99 for nonmembers. The webinar will focus on provisions of the CY 2020 Quality Payment Program (QPP) as included in the 2020 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule released on November 1st. Key areas of focus will be on the changing reporting requirements beginning January 1, 2020, for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) as well as potential future Advanced Alternative Payment Model (Advanced APM) opportunities. The MIPS discussion will include changes to category weighting, the availability of certain reporting options, changes to quality measures, and the heightened thresholds for avoiding a 2022 payment year penalty.
